Residential program, located on the grounds of Tewksbury Hospital, for chronic substance abusing women 18 years and older. It is based on a social model of treatment that includes case management, counseling, advocacy, psycho-educational groups, HIV/AIDS prevention and education, referrals for medical and mental health services, and supported daily living within a culture of recovery. Clients pay monthly fees based on income. Average length of stay is 6+ months. This is a program of Lowell House, Inc.
