The BAGS (Bringing Assistance with Groceries to Seniors) program provides a personal shopper for frail Seekonk residents, 60 years of age or older, who are unable to shop for themselves. Human Services personnel assess the needs of the elder, review their grocery list, shop at local stores, bring home and unpack the groceries, if necessary. Elders who may be in crisis and in need of food immediately are served by the program on a priority basis.
