The Southwick Council on Aging provides services that include a Senior Citizen Club Inc., Transportation, Congregate Dining, Homebound Meals, Brown Bag, Day old Bread and pastries, Health Care Proxy, Health Clinics, Fuel Assistance, Pharmacy Programs, Food Stamps, Outreach, Income Taxes, the Homestead Act, Shine and Trips, Newsletter, and HVES, Inc. The flu clinic is held during the month of November. A Health and Information Fair - Spring and Holiday celebrations are held throughout the year. In addition, the COA also hold classes which include Tai-Chi, Aerobics, Water Aerobics, Ceramics, Painting, Writers Workshop, and Computer. Bingo is played Tuesday morning. Cards are played afternoons. Meals available at the Senior Center. Reservations and cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance.
