A one-hour exercise class for people with Parkinson's is held twice a week. If a person requires assistance, his or her family member or caregiver is welcome. Exercise classes are held in the outpatient dept at the Center for Rehab, 5th floor Medical Arts Complex, 777 North St., on Mondays from 10:30am to 11:30am. Small fee. A script from a medical doctor for Parkinson's exercises is required.

Meets Monday afternoon at 1:00 for one hour of exercise that includes stretching, strengthening and balance work. The class provides a supportive atmosphere in which participants are encouraged to share experiences and ideas. Medical clearance by a physician is required. Doctor's approval may be faxed to Cheryl Reynolds at (413-854-9797). There is a $5 charge that it payable when you arrive to the class.
