Administers comprehensive retirement-survivor and unemployment-sickness benefit programs for the nation's railroad workers and their families. The RRB pays retirement annuities to employees, as well as their spouses and/or divorced spouses, if the employee had at least 10 years of railroad service, or 5 years if performed after 1995.

You can call the RRB Help-Line toll free at 1-877-772-5772 to speak to a customer service representative or obtain automated information about unemployment and sickness benefits, request a letter showing your current monthly annuity rate, request a replacement Medicare card and more. Have your social security number available and the type of information that you are requesting.You may also obtain information and do some business on-line with RRB's Benefit Online Services.
