The USDA, Rural Development agency provides development or improvement loans & grants to rural towns, & housing loans & grants for individual & multi-family housing. They also administer a rural business loan guarantee program and a rural housing guarantee mortgage program through the US Department of Agriculture. This agency also provides loans to individuals or non-profit corporations to develop housing for elderly, handicapped, or low income families. USDA Service Centers are designed to be a single location where customers can access the services provided by the Farm Service Agency, Natural Resources Conservation Service, and the Rural Development agencies.
