Hale House, a program of Hale-Barnard Services for Older People, is a Victorian home serving 60 elderly or disabled men and women in the heart of Boston's Back Bay. It is a Level IV licensed rest home that offers a private room (some shared bathrooms) and numerous small areas for companionship and relaxation, which include a parlor, library, activities room, TV room and communal dining room. Three home-cooked meals/day and 24-hour staff.
They do not accept smokers, active drinkers, or elders who require a wheelchair. Personal care is provided and medication given by nursing staff.
Hale House is independent living with assistance that also offers a Money Management/Rep Payee Program to seniors in the community.
