Notes 1:
South Shore Elder Services is a private non-profit agency serving elders 60 years and older. SSES is a Aging Service Access Point (ASAP) overseeing all community based and institutional long term care for elders who qualify for state funded homecare or Medicaid services.
Notes 2:
State Home Care Services assist with housework, laundry, shopping and personal care. Respite Services are available to assist Caregivers get a break from their Caregiving tasks. Home Delivered Meals assist homebound elders by giving them a noontime meal five days a week, if they are lving alone and finding it difficult to make a meal for themselves.
Notes 3:
Housing Assistance, Family Caregiver Support Services, Elder Care Advisor Services, Congregate Living Opportunities and Information and Referral Services are all services offered by this Aging Services Access Point..
