Intake Procedure: Please call to make an appointment. Office Hours of Operation: Mon.-Fri. 9AM-5PM. This agency assists anyone aged 3 or older who has impaired vision. Fees vary depending on programs. The Center provides short-term campus-based programs focusing on employment potential and ability to live independently. The Carroll Center also offers a Habilitation Training Program that provides education and skills training in order to enhance independence. Other programs include: The Low Vision Clinic and Senior Vision Assessment. There is a store on site called the Carrol Store. The Store hours of operation are 10AM-5PM Tues, Wed, and Friday, 10AM-7 PM Thursday, and the last Saturday of the month 10AM-2PM and they sell adaptive equipment. Campus or community-based programs include independent living skills, computer training, orientation & mobility training, education and employment services and an outdoor enrichment program. The Residential Rehabilitation Program provides intensive training in daily living, travel and communication skills for adults with vision loss -- special programs available for elders.
