Old Colony Elder Services (OCES) is designated by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Executive Office of Elder Affairs as an Aging Services Access Point (ASAP) and is part of a statewide network that provides services to elders, people with disabilities, their families and caregivers. OCES is a regional, non-profit organization with extensive knowledge about services and supports available in our communities that has been providing assistance to individuals and families since 1974. Our mission is to support the independence and dignity of elders and individuals with disabilities by providing essential information and services that promote healthy and safe living. Our staff is culturally diverse to match the needs of our communities. OCES staff can help individuals remain independent in their homes or return home after hospitalization or facility placement. We help arrange and coordinate a wide array of programs and services including but not limited to care management, functional assessments, long-term care options, in-home services, nutritional services, health and wellness programs, supportive living, advocacy and crisis intervention.
