Area Served: Massachusetts Services: Easter Seals Massachusetts is a statewide, community-based organization that has been helping people with disabilities to live full and independent lives. Easter Seals' mission is to help children and adults with disabilities expand their independence by providing service in response to unmet needs. Programs include: Assistive Technology: provides high and low tech solutions to increase independence for children and adults in community-based settings. Rehabilitation: provides physical, occupational and speech therapy. Disability resources: provides information, support and advocacy. AT Loan Program: provides reduced-interest loans for assistive technology and related services. Employment and Training Services: helps people with disabilities develop skills they need to get and keep jobs in today's competitive workplace by offering individualized vocational rehabilitation, job training and employment services to students and adults. Demonstration and loan regional center: provides people with disabilities the opportunity to see, touch and borrow assistive technology devices in order to make informed decisions about technology that will meet their needs.
