Holyoke Congregate is a two story, colonial building with a porch, elevator, central air conditioning, and spacious grounds. Twenty rooms are available. Rooms are for one person only; couples need to have two rooms. Rooms have a bedroom with sitting area, half bath and kitchenette. Residents share a full shower bathroom, living room, dining room, kitchen, library, and crafts room.
Facility is smoke and pet free.
Residents must be 60 years or older or disabled. There is income eligibility. There is no asset limits, but interest is counted towards income. Supportive services such as congregate meals, homemaking and personal care are available. Residents may be eligible for the State Home Care Program, or private pay.
Applications should be made through the Holyoke Housing Authority - 413-539-2220. Assessments are done by the WestMass ElderCare Congregate Housing Coordinator.
