The United Arc provides community-based services and advocacy for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and their families. Primary geographical focus is on Franklin and Hampshire Counties and the North Quabbin area communities of Worcester County. Core services are: Adult Services - group residential and individual support for community living. Family & Children's Services - service navigation, flexible support to assist families that care for a family member with disabilities, parent education & support groups, intensive services for parents with intellectual disabilities, transition services for older teens/young adults, and information and referral at our Family Support Centers in Turners Falls and Athol. Advocacy Services - self advocacy groups, service and educational advocacy, and legislative advocacy in conjunction with state and national Arcs and other disability organizations.
