Kelley Therapeutic Shoe Fund is for elderly or disabled men & women who are residents of Berkshire County, Mass. and are in need of therapeutic shoes that are not covered by insurance. To be eligible applicants would: need shoe adjustments to prevent pressure areas caused by foot deformities, for instance; be advised by healthcare providers that they would benefit from receiving therapeutic shoes; demonstrated need for financial assistance to obtain them. Applicants should verify that their therapeutic shoes would not be covered by insurance. To facilitate verification of applicants' needs, medical and nursing professionals are invited to make application on behalf of eligible individuals.
Grants generally range from $100-$500. Payments made directly to the therapeutic shoe vendor.
